When Assa Abloy approached CAPE directly to assist them with their new fitout in Rosedale we jumped at the opportunity. The initial proposal was for a Design and Build solution, however after finding the right consultant team, and agreeing the initial budget, CAPE felt that it would be more cost effective for Assa Abloy to manage the design themselves and duly passed that responsibility over to them.

From that point on we negotiated the build works using a traditional open-book process, which gave the client confidence that they were receiving fair market pricing.

The project consisted of a single floor fitout within Assa Abloy's existing warehouse, paramount to the success of the project was ensuring that there was no disruption at all to the company's adjacent manufacturing plant or to their existing comms room.

Within the fitout, we were tasked with providing a new boardroom, meeting rooms, quiet rooms, open plan working spaces, a breakout space, display and marketing area and a new guest bathroom. We also helped to specify and supply all soft furnishings to the space.

Following on from the completion of the fitout, we have now been asked by Assa Abloy to look at upgrading their ground floor bathrooms and cafeteria space.
