Project Value
This project involved the comprehensive refurbishment of an existing multi-level commercial building, transforming it into a contemporary and high-end workspace. The scope included a complete upgrade of the ground level lobby, designed and finished to a luxury standard featuring Arabescato marble, high- gloss timber veneer panels, custom made bronze work and modern lighting to create an impressive entry experience.
Levels two through five underwent full interior fitouts, incorporating modern finishes throughout to deliver functional, stylish, and efficient office environments. Works included new partitions, ceilings, polished concrete floors, and integrated building services to meet current standards and tenant requirements.
Level six underwent a complete demolition and full reconstruction, transforming the space into a striking modern part of the building. The new design features high stud ceilings that enhance the sense of openness and light, paired with a contemporary interior layout to maximize functionality and visual impact. A standout element of the redevelopment is the bronze cladding, which adds warmth, sophistication, and a distinct architectural character to the building’s exterior. The combination of premium materials, modern finishes, and refined detailing showcases a seamless integration of design excellence and quality craftsmanship.
The new structure was constructed using eight specially designed and welded steel beams, each measuring just 120mm (high) by 600mm (wide) and spanning up to 7.5 meters from the central core to the perimeter columns using an innovative welding method.
CAPE has extensive experience working in occupied buildings such as 48 Greys Avenue, where level five remained tenanted during construction.
Throughout the 12-month project, we successfully maintained communication and coordination with building management, the client, and tenants, ensuring minimal disruption.
